I realize I post a lot of cupcakes (because they are deliciously addictive to both eat and bake), but these may take the cake as the best cupcakes I’ve ever seen. They’re freakin’ Brain Slugs!!! Alicia says: I opted to make the brain slugs themselves from gum paste, with royal icing eyes, and flower stamen antennae that I attempted to dye green with food coloring (and very vaguely succeeded in doing so).
