Casting Rumors for Season 2 of ‘Game of Thrones’, A Time-traveling Doctor in the Mix, Maybe?
The first season of HBO‘s Game of Thrones blew us away. Stunned us, in fact. How could a television series so perfectly capture its source material, enthrall new fans as well as surprising old time fans with new twists?! It seems impossible even as I type it out but that is exactly what Game of Thronesaccomplished. Meaning, it’s got a hell of a lot to live up to in season two.
Filming on season two is set to start soon, conveniently right after San Diego Comic Con, so hopefully these rumors won’t be rumors for long. One of the casting rumors circulating is Christopher Eccelston, known amongst nerds as the 9th incarnation of the Doctor on Doctor Who, is up for a role in the second season. Who will he play?
