Since Justice League #6 only came out today I’ll put this behind a cut for now.

Hit the jump to witness GLORIOUS Aquaman badassery.

Anyone else totally pumped to see Mera going solo and kicking ass in Aquaman #6?

Check out a preview over at Buzzfeed.

I can’t get enough of how good-lookin’ Aquaman is these days, even when it looks like he’s had the living shit kicked out of him. Thank you Ivan Reis, Joe Prado & Rod Reis.

Your other wishes have been granted!: We have also already done Aquaman! via chrishaley

SO AWESOME! How have I not already seen this?

Aquaman by Dustin Nguyen. Dustin is easily one of my favorite comic book artists. The world is a lesser place because we’ll no longer have new Batgirl covers from him. But this cute little Aquaman makes it a little easier to handle.

Those still requiring evidence proving Aquaman is a badass, see the forthcoming Justice League #4.

Wow! This is incredible!

Brightest Day #20 variant cover, gifted to The Aquaman Shrine at NYCC by Rod Reis.

Yes! Aquaman’s fanbase is growing.

Also, if you haven’t heard, you are doing your eyeballs a disservice by not reading Batwoman.

Read my reviews of 11/the New 52, here.

Every new number one of DC’s big “New 52” relaunch has been released. Of those new 52 issues I picked up 11,

  • Justice League
  • Batgirl
  • Detective Comics
  • Stormwatch
  • Demon Knights
  • Batwoman
  • Batman
  • Birds of Prey
  • Nightwing
  • Wonder Woman
  • Aquaman

I’ve given each one a short, little review which can be found below the cut. As expected, I mostly picked titles I already knew I was going to like. What can I say, even at $2.99 a piece all 52 titles would have totally broken the bank. Plus, was anyone actually excited for a book where Harley Quinn looked like a Juggalette?

If you’re interested in what I thought of these eleven titles, again, read my mini-reviews below. Feel free to tell me what you thought about these books, tell me what books I didn’t pick up that I simply must. Hell, you can even tell me if I’m full of shit for adoring Aquaman. In which case I’ll have to slap ya, but I’ll still listen to what you have to say.
