Four New ‘Fright Night’ Character Posters, Featuring Most Importantly, David Tennant
If you discuss the new Fright Night in different social circles, for example a group of nerds and a group of non-nerds, you’re going to find different aspects of this film mentioned. For instance, a group of non-nerds may comment on what a sexy vamp Colin Farrel is (barf) or maybe that they’re totally done with vampire movies. The most likely response form the group of nerds will be, “David Tennant!! OMG! SQUEE!! DOCTOR WHOOOO! I LURVE HIM!!” Or something along those lines. And it doesn’t matter the gender of said nerd, we all are freakin’ adore David Tennant.
Funny then, how Tennant has been barely featured in the trailers. At least now with these new character posters we get a decent look at his vampire huntin’ magician, Peter Vincent. To check out the gallery of Fright Night posters head over to Nerd Bastards. Fright Night opens August 19th.
Looking for More Doctor in Your ‘Doctor Who’?
This first half of the sixth season of Doctor Who is drawing to a close. Only two more episodes to go with the two-part conlsusion ‘The Almost People‘ airing June 4th on BBC America and the mid-season cliffhanger, ‘A Good Man Goes To War‘ the weekend after that. (Unless you’re a Brit or a pirate American, then you’ve already seen ‘The Almost People.’) With months in between the two halves of this season (second half returns in September) what are fans to do to stay busy? Speculate and rumor-mongering!

I didn’t even know they were doing a remake of ‘Fright Night’ remake! I’m so excited! I loved the original, especially Roddy McDowell’s part because well basically anything Roddy McDowell did was amazing. Hello! He owns all the ‘Ape’ movies. Not in that he actually has ownership of them but he ‘owns’ them, metaphorically. And now David Tennant has that role!? Could not be more awesome!
