As If This ‘Akira’ Flick Could Get Any Worse – Kristin Stewart Offered Role of Kei
First and foremost, we’re handling this as rumor. No official announcement has been made. Secondly, what in the hell are they doing?! It’s as if the vocal outrage over the casting of Garret Hedlund as Kaneda wasn’t enough. They must be determined to break the internet, and I think this announcement might do just that. Kristin Stewart has been offered the role of Kei in Jaume Collet-Sera‘s Akira.

I’m guessing you don’t, and that’s because we haven’t had a chance to see it — yet. But it did totally happened. Kind of. Kristin Stewart, best known as Bella from The Twilight Saga, straight up punched Chris Hemsworth, title character of Marvel’s Thor, when they were filming a scene for their upcoming flick, Snow White and the Huntsman. She wasn’t supposed to hit him, but I guess the girl doesn’t know how to pull her punches.
