How ‘The Muppets’ Was Supposed to End, Plus Muppet Burlesque Shows – Seriously!?
All right, all right, we’ll get to the burlesque soon. I know if you’re like me you read that headline and thought, “What the fuck?! Muppets and burlesque. Okay, I’ll check that out.” And it’s for real, but first let’s talk about The Muppets not taking off their clothes. Chances are over this holiday weekend you saw The Muppets. If you did, you should check out my review. If you didn’t, well, I think I kept it mostly spoiler-free, so you should check it out anyway.
But what I’m going to mention here is very spoiler-y. This is me talking about the ending of the movie. Do not continue if you haven’t seen The Muppets. I guess if you don’t care then go on ahead, but really, you should see this movie. It’s excellent…
Tell Us Ridley Scott, How DO ‘Alien’ And ‘Prometheus’ Relate?
We’ve heard quite a bit from Ridley Scott lately, dropping info about upcoming projects like the Blade Runner sequel and now specifics on how Prometheus will connect to Alien. I think it’s obvious to state, but here I go anyway, if you want to see Prometheus as fresh-faced and innocent of spoilers as the day you were born, don’t read.

There really wasn’t enough of Harley in City, which for me was a disappointment. But, there were some really interesting clues to where the series’ next installment might be going.

Crazy awesome, right?!? Again, I don’t want to spoil, but if you watched the video you must be thinking what I’m thinking.

Over the weekend Nerd Bastards shared some shots of Tom Hardy in full on, Bane get-up. Those pics also gave us our first glimpse of the new Tumbler, which was a little bit of let down with it’s Desert Storm paint job, at least for me. Today, we’ve got a gallery of images featuring a Batman-Bane rumble, and they provide our best look at the film thus far. In the brawl it’s either Christian Bale or his stunt double, hard to tell when they’re in the cowl.
Also included after the jump are a handful of videos taken from scenes being film in Oakland, Pa and at Carnegie Melon. In some of the videos you can even catch Christopher Nolan directing! Caution, genius at work.

Looking for More Doctor in Your ‘Doctor Who’?
This first half of the sixth season of Doctor Who is drawing to a close. Only two more episodes to go with the two-part conlsusion ‘The Almost People‘ airing June 4th on BBC America and the mid-season cliffhanger, ‘A Good Man Goes To War‘ the weekend after that. (Unless you’re a Brit or a pirate American, then you’ve already seen ‘The Almost People.’) With months in between the two halves of this season (second half returns in September) what are fans to do to stay busy? Speculate and rumor-mongering!
