TARDIS in Sherlock?

Steven Moffat: @a_study_in_pink Sue says that isn’t the TARDIS, it was a lighting thing. But by my cuff links, what ELSE could it be???

(this should have gone out last Monday. #TumblrQueueIssues)

Mind is blown. Really, what else could it be? And if they didn’t put it there, WHO did?

“I Stole A Time Lord” - 2012

My Epic Painting of Epicness is COMPLETE. I’ve been meaning to do fanart of Idris for a while now as well as something new for Gallifrey 2012 Art Show. “The Doctor’s Wife” is my favorite episode of S6 and possibly fighting for the top spot of the whole show. Ideas evolved and I decided to go balls out and paint ALL the Doctors.

The wood “canvas” is 10” x 22”  and is a mixture of acrylic and paint pens. Will be available for sale at Gallifrey. Hope to see you there!

Don’t Miss Sherlock’s Season Two Finale - “The Reichenbach Fall”

Premiering this Sunday on BBC One will be the final episode in the terribly short season of Sherlock. Granted, every episode is about 90 minutes, making these episodes more like movies, but whatever, I WANT MORE.

Watch a preview trailer above, and read a short synopsis below.

Sherlock Episode 2.03 - The Reichenbach Fall
Sunday 15 January, 8.30-10.00pm, BBC ONE

James Moriarty – the greatest criminal mind that the world has ever seen. Sherlock and John knew he wouldn’t stay hidden for long. But even they never guessed the sheer scale and audacity of the crime that would propel Moriarty back into the headlines. The crime of the century. The Tower of London, the Bank of England, Pentonville prison – all sprung open on the same day as if by magic! But Moriarty’s plans don’t stop there…

Sherlock and John lock horns with their old enemy in one final problem that tests loyalty and courage to their very limits. Sherlock must fight for his reputation, his sanity and his life. But is he all he claims to be?

Oooh, this showdown is going to be EPIC! I can just tell. Sherlock, Moriarty, in a courtroom. Oh, they’ll be fireworks! And John will be his adorably unawares self.

Sherlock stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman, Mark Gatiss, Rupert Graves, Una Stubbs, Andrew Scott, Louise Brealey, and Katherine Parkinson.

If you missed out on my earlier reviews: “A Scandal in Belgravia” “The Hounds of Baskeville

And finally, here’s a new fun game, spot the TARDIS.

Yup. This is taken from “The Hounds of Baskerville.” Have you spotted it yet? Steven Moffat you mad genius. (.gif via celestial cow)

Nerdy Bits, The Stuff You Didn’t See

Here we are, already to the second edition of Nerdy Bits. Oh how time flies. So, what interesting crap did I scrounge up from the internet this week?

Quentin Taratino responds to a 13-year-old fan, the Stormtrooper Bandito, new Conan the Barbarian poster, 6 crazy movie theories that might be true, a slingshot of mass destruction, 6 stages of movie geek evolution, wearable Lego Master Chief armor, real-life Portal turret replica, Dalek wedding cake, Aunt May vs Ma Kent, Darth Vader announces Obi-Wan’s death, Marvel movie timeline, What sci-fi series should I watch on Netflix? flowchart, a tween girl designed the Tardis console featured in The Doctor’s Wife, the embarrassing moment Superman met Doctor Who, Starbuck meets Starbuck in Starbucks, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man s’more and MORE!

Like I said, it’s a lot of random crap. Hope you enjoy!

Above, a particular favorite Nerdy Bit of mine, the design “blue prints” of the impromtu Tardis created by the Doctor and his “wife” in last week’s new Doctor Who. The console was designed by 12-year-old Susannah Leah, what a clever girl.

Make sure you check out the whole stockpile of Nerdy Bits at Nerd Bastards.

Just check out these great dresses from Robyn Raygun, featuring the Serenity from Firefly and the Tardis from Doctor Who.

Every geeky girl needs these and you can snag one for only $36!

Badass Homemade Bed of the Day: Bid to own a one-of-a-kind TARDIS Murphy bed!

Custom-built by a particularly talented Kiwi for his son, the bed comes complete with a working police light that projects the Southern Cross onto the ceiling, a chain of LED lights with six pulse settings, and Doctor Who replica talking telephone with a secret button that makes TARDIS sound effects when pressed!

There is one major flaw, though: You will never want to fall asleep ever again.

[thanks cara!]

Probably the coolest thing I’ve seen all month.

Oh wait…December just started. Soooo that statement is entirely true! Hooray!
