Good news, Fannibals! There’s a good chance we will see Hannibal return, someway, somehow! Even if the series won’t return to NBC next year there are other interested parties, like Amazon and some unnamed cable network.
No reason to stop supporting the shit outta of it, though. Make sure you’re watching on NBC, Hulu, iTunes, or Amazon!

A Season 1 finale needs to deliver on a lot of levels. We need to see the season’s over-arching threat thwarted, we need to see how each character relates to the endgame, and we need to have enough left over to leave us chomping at the bit for Season 2. And after a season that was often more shaky than solid, Arrow‘s finale, “Sacrifice“, went out on a strong note. Possibly the strongest of the season.
Overall, I was far happier with this finale than I have been with most of the season. I’m actually excited for Season 2!

As of now, NBC is holding off on their decision whether or not to renew Hannibal. Which is good news, because I’m hoping this means they’re waiting to see what more of the DVR/On Demand/Streaming figures look like since their airtime ratings have been low.
When will networks learn the formula of watching shows live, particularly one late on a Thursday night, just isn’t how people consume television anymore?
Anyway, I want to STRESS how IMPORTANT it is for everyone to watch the show on one of its LEGAL streaming/download options, of which there are many as you can see above. I know, it airs one night earlier in Canada and therefor is available on the internet’s black market before it airs in the U.S. But if we want a second season we need to prove to NBC there’s a demand. They’re not tracking piracy and thinking, oh look at how many people are downloading Hannibal, must be popular enough to renew.
And believe me, I’m no saint. I usually watch it early through some nefarious back alley stream because I’m obsessed. But then I’ll watch it again on Hulu or NBC, sometimes more than once, because yes, I’m that obsessed
So please, watch Hannibal, legally if you can, make your friends watch, talk about it - you’d be surprised how many haven’t heard of it!

This is it, the final stretch. Only two more episodes to go, and wow!, did “Darkness On The Edge Of Town” really set things in motion for next week’s finale. It’s almost as if this is the episode we’ve all been waiting for because, finally, all of Arrow’s tangent plot lines are coming together. Things kicked off at breakneck speed with the Dark Archer, Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) attacking Unidac Industries and killing every scientist who had anything to do with the seismic device “the undertaking” is using to destroy The Glades. And I was immediately struck by how distraught I’ll be when Barrowman’s villain meets his inevitable sticky end.
I’m guessing we’ll see his undoing this season, with Tommy (Colin Donnell) taking his place as head of Merlyn Global and The Hood’s arch-nemesis. I do hope I’m wrong, because bad guy Barrowman is too much fun to give up, but the police drawing a connection between the Dark Archer and Merlyn Global so quickly can’t be a good sign. At least there’s plenty of promise Malcolm’s not going down without a fight…

RECAP/REVIEW: Arrow – Episode 21 – “The Undertaking”
Finally, at 21 episodes in, Arrow is beginning to move towards its finale. And with its dragging pace, to only be getting us to this point now further proves 23 episode orders for a TV series are tiresome. As I look back over this season there are so many episodes, so many villains of the week, that served no purpose other than fattening the story so the overall plot could fill 23 episodes. Can you imagine what a heart-pounding, thrilling season we could have had were they to stick with only 10 to 12 episodes?…

The show really needs the ratings as right now it’s teetering on the edge of canceled/renewed. There was an 18% ratings drop last night thanks to some sports thing~.
You can watch every episode on Hulu right now for free. Including the webisodes of the unaired episode, Ceuf.

Why isn’t it Sunday yet!?!
Sunday is the only night with shows I care to watch. Game of Thrones, Once Upon a Time, Mad Men, and Vikings. So much good TV in a single evening. (Even with OUAT on hiatus.)
Ugh…I hate waiting. I’m not a very patient person.
[edit] Oh, duh, and there’s Doctor Who on Saturdays. But still, Sunday’s are stacked.
Aw yeah that’s Huntress catching one of The Hood’s - ha, that name is still dumb - arrows mid flight. She’s sort of a badass.
And she’s sort of a villain. Something I’m still not sure how I feel about.
