In this short behind-the-scenes featurette the cast and crew, including Jon Favreau, Ron Howard, Olivia Wilde, Daniel Craig, Clancey Brown, Paul Dano and Harrison Ford, discuss what a beautiful awesome thing this crazy mash-up of genre movie is. For years kids have been creating such incredible battles in they backyards and bedrooms and now we can experience one on the big screen with a great director, awesome cast and top notch special effects. Who else is super excited about this summer movie?
In what might be the best blend since Mr. Reese’s was like, “Aw snap, this peanut butter and chocolate confection is bitchin’!”; Cowboys & Aliens looks like the perfect smashing of genres. Captain Jack Harkness is finally returning to television. He’s been long absent with no appearance inDoctor Who since Matt Smith stepped out of the Tardis and his own series, Torchwood has been off air since Children on Earth in 2009. The surviving members of the team, Captain Jack (John Barrowman) and Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles) return July 8th with Torchwood: Miracle Day on Starz.
