Iron Man suits through the years (2008-2013)
Saw Iron Man 3 last night. It’s fantastic! Easily as good as the first, much, MUCH better than the sequel. Not quite as good as The Avengers, but, I don’t think any of us expected that.
RDJ give his best performance, yet, as Tony.
Pepper Potts rocks.
The Mandarian is quite unexpected, and I genuinely enjoyed the surprise.

A lot of people have been wondering about the division of labour between Mike Norton and I on art, so here’s a quick example from the Point One story. Image 1 is what I send over to Mike via Dropbox, and image 2 is how he finishes them off. I don’t always build Sketchup models for backgrounds - sometimes it’ll just be some rough pencilling. I’d call what Mike does background finishing, rather than background inking, as he adds a lot of form, texture and extra elements than just straight up inking.
All done in Manga Studio.

Filming Begins on S.H.I.E.L.D. TV Show – Nerds Everywhere, Rejoice!| Doctor Who Returns March 30th| RUMOR: We Might See a Batman Film in Theatres by 2017
Easily the best news I heard today was Doctor Who’s return on the 30th. Especially when you consider Game of Thrones begins the next day, March 31st. What a spectacular weekend that’s shaping up to be!
Now, a new Batman movie in 2017? That, I’m less excited about. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE BATMAN. But, I’d rather see a new animated series over a new movie franchise. Batman will already be appearing in the Justice League movie, which is cool, but when Warner Bros. has so many other superheroes who deserve the movie treatment, can’t Batman take a little break?

I’m surprisingly pumped for that new X-Men title. I mean, what? A comic book starring five women!?! Shocking. Plus the cover art looks fantastic. I’ve got to give Marvel credit for really upping the amount of women in their comics. I’m already digging Captain Marvel, though I’m woefully behind, and this might have to become the second Marvel title to join my pull.
Also, I will be emailing my comic shop today to let them know I’m not dead and do intend to come pick up my pull very soon. (It’s been months.) And this time, I really mean it!
Wow, I didn’t expect that amount of kind words and sympathy regarding last night’s incident. I am truly touched. Thank you so much. And thank you for conveying so much hugs to my mom and dad XD My mom came in to my room this morning and said something funny - she said she had an insult she wanted to say to that guy but she held it in so hard her stomach hurts the whole night.
Anyways I spent last night (and this morning) finishing this up (nothing better than to spend pent-up anger on artwork!) - my rendition of the new Captain Marvel costume re-imagined as a dress. The new Captain Marvel’s hairstyle is really a bit hard for me to pin down exactly. Is it short? pinned back? Terry Dodson styled it differently from Dexter Soy’s interpretation and I can’t decide between the two so I just sorta make it up as I go along. Thanks for looking!——————————————
